Under the weather... *sniff...

I've caught the bug that's been going around so I haven't done any sewing lately. But it's the holidays! This is like one of the greatest times to sew something, even if they're just festive throw pillow covers or an easy Santa hat. But I can't even do any of that. I've been coughing and sneezing for the past six days now and all I really want to do is lie in bed and sleep. I can't really stay home because I end up doing chores. I really don't want to go to work but it's starting to pile up and just thinking about it makes me feel even sicker. How does that go again? Damned if I do, and damned if I don't...

I really don't like taking any medication. I mean, if I know that I don't need it and I can go on without it, I will choose not to take it. But now that we have a toddler in the house, I can't afford to be sick. I've already taken several kinds of drugs for this darn cough/cold but nothing seems to work. It's simply annoying. I just hope this will go away before Christmas (the sooner the better).
